• Pre Signature Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Sign Language Interpreting training and assessment (Sign Solutions Accredited)

A taught programme providing coaching and practical application in BSL and Interpreting.

The programme comprises four days of tutor contact time and includes opportunities to practice skills previously learned on the NVQ4 in BSL programme and offers resources to begin to learn and practice skills in BSL/English Interpreting. Suitable for those wishing to undertake the Level6 NVQ Diploma in Sign Language Interpreting Programme.

• NVQ4 Interpreting (CACDP/Signature qualification)

A taught programme that provides training in specific areas of interpreting theory and practice, including practical preparation, professional development, self evaluation, professional practice and ethics.

The programme comprises 120 hours of tutor/assessor contact time and includes opportunities to practise skills, collect evidence (real and simulated), plus a generous allocation of assessment time, enabling participants to meet with their assessors at regular intervals.
